Removing the Category Base
By default, your category URLs might look like this: /blog/category/strategy/. If you prefer a cleaner structure, simply go to PolyCMS -> Settings -> Permalinks and clear the Category Base field. Your URLs will instantly rewrite to /blog/strategy/.
Post URL Structures
You can also customize how individual posts are displayed. Choose between:
- Day and name:
/blog/YYYY/MM/DD/sample-post/ - Month and name:
/blog/YYYY/MM/sample-post/ - Post name (Recommended):
/blog/sample-post/
Pro Tip: Always use "Post name" for evergreen content to maximize your keyword relevance!
